Cyanotypes on Fabric

Cyanotypes on Fabric
About this class
Cyanotype is a photographic process dating back to the late 1800s that uses UV light to develop images. In this workshop, you’ll create cyanotypes on fabric using paper cutouts, tape, pressed plants and other materials. The price of the workshop includes pretreated 8 x 10 fabric sheets, depending on class size and weather students will be able to print 1-3 of these sheets. Students are encouraged to bring any small, flat objects they’d like to experiment with printing. Paper cutouts, stencils, flat lace, film negatives/transparencies and pressed flowers all work very well.
