Ice Dye Workshop
About this class
Learn the basics of Ice Dyeing, a fun and easy dye process with stunning results. Use powdered dye and ice to create one of a kind, multicolored garments. We'll review some basic resist and tying techniques to create patterns using the dye, similar to tie die. Please wear clothes you are comfortable with potentially getting stained. All materials are included in the class *except* for the item you will dye. Please bring a 100% cotton t-shirt to dye. It can be white or a light color and does not need to be new or blank. In fact, ice dye is a great way to save a t-shirt with a stain or make a graphic t-shirt from an event or cause way more fun to wear! We will also have a small selection of second hand t-shirts in various sizes that you are welcome to choose from. You will leave with your item in a small container and instructions to wash it out at home, as the dye process takes 12-24 hours to fully set.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (2 days) before the start of your class to receive a full refund. We are unable to offer refunds within the 48 hour period, though you are welcome to send somebody else in your place if you can't attend. Just let us know! If you need to cancel, please reach out to us at patchworkcommunitycraft@gmail.com. Since spaces are limited, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellation at any time for classes taught by guest or visiting teachers. Most classes require a minimum of two students to run. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you'll be notified 24 hours before the start of class and will receive a full refund.
