Learn Applique: Still Life

Class Description
Applique is the fun, easy, and meditative art of sewing shaped patches onto fabric. In this class, you'll create a small fabric still life using various applique techniques. First you'll draw out the shapes of your objects and create your composition. Then sew on your appliques to create your still life. Not all students may finish in class (based on the complexity of the design) but all students will leave with the tools and techniques to finish the project on their own. You can bring your own supplies to this class OR purchase them at Patchwork. Supplies needed: 1 yard of medium weight stable fabric for background - Cotton and linen work well A collection of fabric and scraps to create your appliques Thread Hand sewing needles
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (2 days) before the start of your class to receive a full refund. We are unable to offer refunds within the 48 hour period, though you are welcome to send somebody else in your place if you can't attend. Just let us know! If you need to cancel, please reach out to us at patchworkcommunitycraft@gmail.com. Since spaces are limited, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellation at any time for classes taught by guest or visiting teachers. Most classes require a minimum of two students to run. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you'll be notified 24 hours before the start of class and will receive a full refund.
