Learn to Sew: Patchwork Tote Bag

Class Description
In this afternoon class for total beginners, you’ll learn the basics by sewing up a cute and useful Patchwork Tote. We'll cover the ins and outs of machine sewing (using our machines or your own), how to cut your pattern from fabric, the importance of pressing, and a variety of fundamental sewing techniques. This class is a great way to gain confidence using a sewing machine and jump start your creativity! Price includes your choice of materials from our re-use center, but you are welcome to bring your own supplies. If you buy your own, you'll need: 1 yard Canvas or other durable fabric 2 yds 1" or 1.25" webbing .5 yds contrast fabric (medium weight cotton woven) Thread
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (2 days) before the start of your class to receive a full refund. We are unable to offer refunds within the 48 hour period, though you are welcome to send somebody else in your place if you can't attend. Just let us know! If you need to cancel, please reach out to us at patchworkcommunitycraft@gmail.com. Since spaces are limited, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellation at any time for classes taught by guest or visiting teachers. Most classes require a minimum of two students to run. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you'll be notified 24 hours before the start of class and will receive a full refund.
