About this class
In this afternoon class for total beginners, you’ll learn the basics by sewing up a cute and useful Patchwork Tote. We'll cover the ins and outs of machine sewing (using our machines or your own), how to cut your pattern from fabric, the importance of pressing, and a variety of fundamental sewing techniques. This class is a great way to gain confidence using a sewing machine and jump start your creativity! *Price includes your choice of materials from our re-use center, but you are welcome to bring your own supplies. If you buy your own, you'll need: 1 yard Canvas or other durable fabric 2 yds 1" or 1.25" webbing .5 yds contrast fabric (medium weight cotton woven) Thread
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, you'll need to do so 48 hours before the start of the first class session. After that, we will not be able to offer you a refund. We recommend finding a friend or acquaintance who'd like to take your place. If we are able to fill your spot we may be able to offer you a refund, though we cannot guarantee this.
