Make Your Own Patterns
About this class
This is an introductory course in pattern making. In the first two sessions, you'll earn the basic fundamentals of developing patterns from a basic pattern block using adorable mini patterns. In the second two sessions, you'll use these skills to develop a simple shirt design and leave with a ready-to-sew pattern in your size. Students must have some experience working with patterns. We recommend signing up for Open Sewing Workshop or Clothing Projects to brush up on your sewing skills before signing up for this class. This class is available as an Online Hybrid! Remote students will join via zoom for the first two sessions. The second two sessions, students have the option to join live to work on their patterns or schedule two half-hour individual meetings to develop and troubleshoot patterns.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (2 days) before the start of your class to receive a full refund. We are unable to offer refunds within the 48 hour period, though you are welcome to send somebody else in your place if you can't attend. Just let us know! If you need to cancel, please reach out to us at patchworkcommunitycraft@gmail.com. Since spaces are limited, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellation at any time for classes taught by guest or visiting teachers. Most classes require a minimum of two students to run. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you'll be notified 24 hours before the start of class and will receive a full refund.
