Class Description
Do you want to create your own clothing that fits your body and style? In this 'open sewing' class for adults, bring whatever clothing project excites you! For beginners, choose a simple garment and focus on building construction skills like sewing collars or inserting zippers. More experienced students can try their hand at pattern changes, embellishments, and getting a custom fit. Focus on one project for the whole class or get help with works in progress that have hit a snag. Make something from scratch or alter a pre-existing garment. Basic sewing machine skills are required but beginners are welcome! You can pay for the whole month by buying a package and save 15% or pay per session. If you pay for the whole month and have to miss a session, you can make it up by coming to an evening session of Open Sewing Studio.
Class Meetings
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (2 days) before the start of your class to receive a full refund. We are unable to offer refunds within the 48 hour period, though you are welcome to send somebody else in your place if you can't attend. Just let us know! If you need to cancel, please reach out to us at patchworkcommunitycraft@gmail.com. Since spaces are limited, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellation at any time for classes taught by guest or visiting teachers. Most classes require a minimum of two students to run. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you'll be notified 24 hours before the start of class and will receive a full refund.
