Class Description
In this fun and informative class, you'll learn the basics of cutting and sewing knits, along with mastering professional finishes for an off the rack look. By the end, you'll have created a classic wardrobe staple - your very own T-shirt! The pattern - a classic unisex tee - is included in the cost of the class and can be modified to your liking. You can bring your own supplies to this class OR purchase them at Patchwork (our reuse center has a limited selection of knit fabrics and rib knits). Another great option is shopping at locally owned Lorraine Fabrics across the street at 593 Mineral Spring Ave. Supplies needed: - Knit fabric - 2 yds - Optional: Matching or coordinating rib knit fabric for the neckband (Patchwork carries several colors) - Matching thread
Class Meetings
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (2 days) before the start of your class to receive a full refund. We are unable to offer refunds within the 48 hour period, though you are welcome to send somebody else in your place if you can't attend. Just let us know! If you need to cancel, please reach out to us at patchworkcommunitycraft@gmail.com. Since spaces are limited, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellation at any time for classes taught by guest or visiting teachers. Most classes require a minimum of two students to run. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you'll be notified 24 hours before the start of class and will receive a full refund.
