Walk with Me Expressive Arts Workshop
About this class
Join Patchwork community member Amy Kinney for a one of a kind expressive arts mixed media workshop using upcycled shoes as jumping off point for creating meaningful and storied art objects. Choose from a collection of secondhand shoes (used but sanitized) and use a variety of embellishments and recycled fabric and supplies from our reuse area to transform them. In exploring our unique stories through creative expression, we can discover that our journeys are similar even though each person walks down a different path. Through artistic transformation and creative writing, participants will have the opportunity to witness the lives of others while sharing what it means to “walk in my shoes” with the rest of the group.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (2 days) before the start of your class to receive a full refund. We are unable to offer refunds within the 48 hour period, though you are welcome to send somebody else in your place if you can't attend. Just let us know! If you need to cancel, please reach out to us at patchworkcommunitycraft@gmail.com. Since spaces are limited, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellation at any time for classes taught by guest or visiting teachers. Most classes require a minimum of two students to run. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you'll be notified 24 hours before the start of class and will receive a full refund.
